Be Honest About Your Lighting

The biggest mistake people make is buying a plant based on how beautiful it is, rather than knowing what type of light they get in their space. Before you head to the nursery, take a look at your windows:

Direct Light (South/West facing): This is intense, bright sunlight. It’s perfect for succulents and cacti, but it will burn sensitive leaves.

Indirect Light (East/West facing): Plenty of bright light without the harsh, direct rays. This is the sweet spot for most indoor tropicals.
